Event location detail.

Starts 1st May, ends 31st June.

Every year nagas all across the Cesferan ocens throw a huge celebration to please their godess Ser'peruu. The godess enjoys colors, elegance, sun and vitality and it is believed among nagas, that she is one granting all beauty. So nagas dress up colorfully and have parades, shows, halters, music, dances... simply a huge celebration. Since war of Colderra and Azol'Amath ended and alliance started, Azol'Amathian nagas do celebrations that landwalkers can join too. They are held on Echo isles. Here, play this to set the mood. Here, you can check entries of previous years of Azol'Amath Carnival.

SURROUNDINGS DESCRIBTION

🌑️Climate: Echo isles are not tropical, they're in temperate climate (for inspiration about nature think of Brittania). In time of carnival which is at summer, temperatures go from 15°C at night to highest of 35°C. Sea temperature keeps around 18-24°C. Low tides occure at 8am and 4pm.

Nature of Echo isles is amazing, but I will not lie, one of the prettiest parts of the Echo isles are the beaches. The beach closest to the Kalisa's stables is fairly wide and has slow slope. Sand is pale yellow, with seashells, occasinal small stones and kelp in it. Low tide uncovers small rock formations with retracted anemonoes, meek crabs and tufts of limp bubble kelp.
Facing to the ocean, on right there is a pier, where can be present larger ships or fishing boats, further on right side you can see steep cliff outcrop with a lighthouse on it.
On the left steep hill with cliff forming rock arch above the water.
Facing to the dry land, it goes slowly uphill. There's two large stable buildings in mixture of ancirnt greek and gothic style arcitecure. In paddocks around them are few nagian unicorns grazing (malacos, baltira and dolphir breeds). Behind it begins mixed forest.
Forest, fairly dense, obviously very old, barely touched by human hand, covers almost 60% of the island. There are many animal trails, that can be followed on foot, but in saddle only two ways are possoble. One was created by humans to be used for the cross-coutry races. The other one was created by need to get through the forest to the other side of the island. Cross-country trail is fairly safe, but still full of obstacles, such as fallen trees, narrow parts in between rock walls, or through bits of floodplain forests.

SHOW AREAS

🐚Dressage area 1: It has beach part and water part, as it is originally for nagians. There are no fences and land part of the area is marked by borders made out of driftwood, large seashells, lastures, conches and smooth rocks of a size of a football ball. Water part has borders marked by sea collored buyos, so they don't ruin the beautiful view of the ocean. Deepest part of area is 0.5m.

🌸Dressage area 2: Covered by coarse sand and partly taken over by sturdy grass, that finds a way to thrive, no matter how much anyone tries to get rid of it. This dressage area is fenced with nice thick logs,  layed on the ground. The logs still have bark on them.

🌊Showjumping area: Created for nagians, it is mostly covered by shallow water. It has very slow slope and deepest part has 0.5m. Commonly used obstacles are created by nagas, and they created them from stuff they simply found on the beach. So crooked drift wood, parts of wrecked ships and nets. All ornamented with bits of thick ship's ropes and seashells. Few obstacles, that humans created, are made from nice sanded, straight planks or thin wooden logs. Those are usually in the shallowest parts of fhe area.
If only nagian unicorns are expected to compete in show jumping, there is possiblity of water obstacles. In such case are present two or three water mages, keeping water stuck in place, to from waves in palce of obstacles.

🏞️Cross-country track: Once again primarily created for nagian unicorns, for other mounts a bit harder, as they have to swim in order to beat it. It beggins at the stables leading towards lighthouse. There you have to scale tricky cliffs next to the watefalls, or simply jump into the water. Then track leads across sea cloose to the 4 meters tall cliff. To get off the sea level, you have to climb back on to the cliff, via unclear sandy path chiseled into the rock.
Following part is throug small, younger forest, followed by sprintable grassy area with river crossing. Next road goes through the forest again, but this time darked, denser and more difficult part. Final part goes on the edge of cliffs and back to the stables.
