That means it is all about creation of visual art, or better to say illustrations of adventures experieced by player characters. Imagine it like RPG video game, but bit more demanding, as you don't just click buttons, but have to actively create content.
Who is this game aimed for?
Those who wand to draw, either for fun or to improve. Setting is medieval fantasy with emphasis on hummanoids and ridable animals.
What drawing level I need?
It honestly doesn't matter. It is possible to play with stickman drawings aswell as with art of professinal.
Do I need to communicate in order to play?
Depends. Technically taken you can avoid communication with others, but you will times to times always have to exchange few words with admins.
How do I communicate with admins?
Admin team is from Czech Republic and Slovakia, so you can use english, slovak or czech. We can be caught on Discord, deviantArt and here on Blogger or via email: wocherald@gmail.com. Our time zone is UTC +1.
Can I create and share something else besides drawn art?
Sure, but sadly we don't have too many ways how to score it to support ingame growth of your character. Discord has place to share things such as: Colderra design looalikes, Colderra memes, characters from other games you created based on WoC characters etc. Share it in "meme" chat.
Please notice that group is international and if you will create and share novel stories, only some players will be able to read it, depending on language you use. So do not succumb to despair, if only very few people read them :). There's not much any of us can do about it.
How do I start playing?
Simply head to the How to begin. Read through it's contents and links. It should cover all basic questions, if you have more questions, or just want to discuss your player character choices, it can be done on Discord (that is faster than deviantArt). And don't forget to read the rules, please.
How to play without devianArt account
1. Can I even play?
This
is tricky. Simple answer is: yes, you can. But more complex answer is,
that it will get complicated. You can for sure join events, create art
or level up your mounts on other art platforms, but for group that is
still run on dA it will be hard to keep track.
2. How do I join the group?
To get free starter mount and be considered as member of the group, join discord or atleast please send us email to wocherald@gmail.com with:
- Nickname - will be used for ownership of mounts, mentioned in events, scoreboards etc.
- Link to art platform you use - if you use any. Link will be added to your nickname in results for example, so other group members can check your art.
- Then join Zindar registry.
3. How do I obtain mounts without deviantArt account?
Browse
for sale folder in group (it is publicly acessible without login) and
send link to import you are interested in to either discord server or email: wocherald@gmail.com. Same goes for customs, contact us on discord or via the email.
4. How do I pay for mounts without dA points?
With ingame currecy (rits) only, unless the mountis offered for art or is free to claim.
5. How do I join events and other activities?
Send entries via email wocherald@gmail.com.
Either simply links to whenever you uploaded your art (that would be
preffered) or the picture itself as attachement to the email. Please include all required info in picture describtion.
6. Do I have to make link back to the group?
Yes please. It doesn't have to be deviantArt link, but atleast link this website. Simply to respect credits of the game creators and give opportunity for others to see the game.
7. If I send picture as email attachement, will it be published somewhere?
Yes, please count with it. For events, quests and other things that are publicly evaluated it is necessary to show pictures to others. Your artworks will be uploaded on either dA unpublic storage or google drive of woc-brissinge. They will not be reshared or used for any commerical, non-commerical or whatever purpose, only for sole needs of group.
