Collecting items

Various crafted items owned by players.

Items are medieval/fantasy themed things, such as weapons, trinkets, tacks or clothing, that can gain you exp, CP or improve abilities. Some item might be just collectibles, with no direct effect on a game. Items of all rarities can be obtained from:
  • Leveling both mount and rider.
  • Activities
  • Bought premades put in here.
  • Requested custom common items for 2 .
World of Colderra currently shares, for sake of events, CP adding items with FarrosianHorse-Stud and ChroniclesOfAntharia. You can keep track of items you own in Zindar registry.
What do you need to know about items it how to use them, how much at once character can wear, if they can be shared, and how much they help in activities, and how much you can sell them for. You'll find that all in following section.

๐ŸคณITEM USAGE
Definition of term 'usage' = being visibly and distinguishably drawn on picture. Apart other functions, using items will aid your riders in levelling.
  • Passive usage: Item is not actively used for it's purpose by any depicted character. Every rider on picture not using the items gets +1 exp per every passively used item. and riders directly using items gets +5 exp for active usage. For example: sheathed weapon, saddle resting on fence, hanged clothes, boots next to bed etc.
  • Active usage: Item is used for its purpose, user gets +5 exp per item and can apply ability improvements and CP in relevant pictures. Wearables worn, weapons in hands. Riders directly using item. For example: Bow ready to shoot, handling saddled mount etc. If you have geared up mount, rider will get exp for every item the mount is wearing, if they ride or lead the mount. Just standing to each other would not count.
  • Consummation usage: Consumables are consumed if used, thus only one time usage. They activate by depicting character being clearly about to use the item or visibly depicting changes caused by the consumable item. For example: eating food, empty vial after potion stil in hand, lighting up torch. If item has set duration of effect, it starts in moment of publishing usage picture. Usage can be part of any picture.

CHARACTER ITEM SLOTS
There's limited amount of items on rider or mount can use at once. Items per slot for rider, it is: 2x chest, 1x legs, 1x hands, 1x feet, 1x arms, 1x neck, 1x  2x in-hand, 2x finger, 2x head.
For mount it's: 2x back, 1x chest, 1x backside, 1x feet, 1x legs, 1x neck, 1x ears, 1x mane/horsehair, 1x horns, 2x head, 2x saddle and 1x tail.
I know this is a bit overwhelming, so I constructed a table for that. Here, item slots table.

๐ŸคOWNERSHIP AND SHARING
Not every item can be worn by every character. In item description is written, for whom is the item made. Some are bound to species, some to concrete character. Some are so fluid with design, that can be used for any mount or character. Items, not bound to specific characters, can be shared in-between players too, but be sure to ask first!

๐Ÿ’ŽITEM RARITY
Rarity of item determines how much extra CP or abilities you gain of used in relevant activity. Rarity also sets value item can be sold for.
  • Common: +1  | value 2
  • Uncommon: +2  | value 4
  • Rare: +3  | value 8
  • Epic: +4-5 (decided on random) | value 12
  • Legendary: Doubling score in competition (one time use) | unsellable

๐Ÿ”ITEM CLASS
If you take a look on the table I already mentioned in character item slots, you can see that items are bundled in sections, which determine what you can gain if used within activities, such as events.
  • Travel gear [CP] - equipment, that is versatile and can be generally used. Now everywhere, but in most occasions. It grants common points, that will come in handy in various activities.
  • Battle gear [RES | DRE] - armors and weapons. Those grant resistance or deadness ability improvement. Very handy in pit fights or perilous quests.
  • Tack [OBE] - helpful thing, if you need to improve obedience of your mount. Will come in handy in races, dressage and such.
  • Jewelry [ELE] - boosts elegance. Wera helpful in halters, shows and anything, where you need to look fine, noble and polished.
  • Miscellaneous - anything really. Some items cannot be put into any category and might have very individual improvements. Consumables, such as food or potion, most likely will fall under this category.

REQUESTING ITEM

Items are created by Brissinge or players themself. But be proactive, ask for the item.
If you acquired possibility to get item, if it's random, roll on discord, then the item can be created. If you got fully custom item, you are obligated it's fully up to you, how it will look, and send either a request containing:
  • Where you got the item from:
  • What rarity:
  • What item class:
  • Verbal description of what you want:
  • OPTIONAL: You can add links to visual references for design either done by yourself or link to random pic.

Or design the item yourself. In  that case try to stylize item to resemble official look. Send created item to Brissinge, it will be uploaded with proper description.

There's a lot more I cannot think of right now, so don't relay just on this list. If you want something that's not included in list, it doesn't mean it's non existent. It just might require personal chat with admin about the item.

๐Ÿ”Requestable consumables:
This section is bit more experientable, as there's not precisely set, what abilities the items can have. So far consumables can be:
  • Potions
  • Food (mostly treats probably).
  • Drugs (medication or bad drugs).

And some more items.
