ASSIGMENT

Day time: From dawn till dusk.

Weather: From light snowfall, to completly sunny with beautiful clouds and cold breeze.

Surroundings: Mountain area, see describtion on bottom of this page.

Describtion: General show is in its nature static. It aims to strike a pose and show visual qualities. But since every kind of mount is different, they can be showed in what suits them most. Elegant horse with flowing mane and shimmering coat, or wild growling warg ready to attack... the poses can vary as it suits nature of the mount.  See for each year for what type of mounts is General show opened for. 

Note: Even though it won't be possible to tell from a drawing, the mount should be able to stay still in the chosen pose for 2-3 minutes, so judges can observe in detail. That means that poses in movement of midair are unfortunately out of limits for this one.

 

📋 NECESSITIES

Create one picture containing:

• One mount.
• One rider. Mount doesn't have to be led by rider, but rider should be present as part of the participating team.
  
• Event and activity appopriate surroundings.
  

📈 JUDGING

See judging core! Atop to this, there will two counted abilites for both mount and rider:

• Elegance or dreadness (depending on which is higher for the mount)
  
• Obedience

And two more visual criteria, that you should focus on:

• Snow: +1-5 CP
  
• Clouds: +1-5 CP

These will be judged by how well they were done. They don't have to be hyperrealistic, but try to study them and learn something new perhaps. Challenge yourself a bit.
