Wolf's run entry from 2017 by Nerissien

In honor of Renjorn 'Wolf'. Northern elf messanger who took shortcut to get into enemy fortress before their main army, rised flag of his army, and confused incomming group of enemies so much, that they left in fear, because they though, the fortress was conquered.

It's a cross-country-like race. But quite dangerous, since track leads across elemental lava fields, and elementals aren't happy to have intrudors in their area.

 

QUEST OBJECTIVE

Draw one picture.

Rider and mount getting through any part of the race track. Running, jumping, sliding...the race has only rules: Don't fight with emelentelas and never stop, untill you finished the race. It is allowed to use magic, special abilities of mounts, except for flying. Your rider carries your flag for whole time. The flag contains for example your stable coat of arms, or country flag.

 

Surroundings: Localized on Kröh, frozen continent. So there's very cold, snow, dark skies, no visible sun, no trees, no green. For landscape, you can take inspiration from pics of lava in snow. In case you will get close to the fortress it is similar to this caslte only partly in rocky mountain side.

Visible rocks, lava springs, lavafalls, raging earth, fire and frost elementals, even some fire rain is possible, snowing.

Obstacles: nothing made by human, or pre prepared, just those that can appear natuarally, like gaps, narrow lava streams, rocks...

Dresscode: Whatever you want, but warm, and proper for the weather. Same for horse.
