Then you slowly peel your eyes open.
The sudden flash of light makes your head explode in pain. You grab your
temple and sure enough, there is a bump the size of an egg. You must
have got hit and blacked out.
You carefully try to open your eyes
again. You are outside and the flickering light comes from a huge
firepit. Bright red flames are licking the bottom of a cauldron hanging
over it. There is a group of ogres standing around, gesturing with their
big hands and obviously arguing. And you? You are in a cage not far from
the fire, waiting to be cooked and served as their dinner. Riiight. All
the memories suddenly come flooding back.
These three big blockheads managed to
catch you unawares while you were resting beside the road. The journey
was exhausting and you wanted to simply rest your eyes for a bit...
which turned out to be a grave mistake. They captured you with ease and
added you to their hoard of ingredients. Because... now that you look
around, there are actually many more creatures around kept in similar
conditions to you: horses, unicorns, geckos and even a bear or two. All
of them in different states of discomfort and panic.
This is not good. You have to get out
of here!
You check your pockets and belt. The
last spark of hope goes out. They took all your weapons. Maybe these
ogres aren't as stupid as they seem.
You look over at them. Their discussion
seems to be getting more and more heated. One of the ogres keeps
gesturing wildly towards the cages. Is it that they can´t decide whom to
eat first?!
Your gaze passes over the bubbling
cauldron and the giant meat cleaver next to it and... stops on the
mounts. Would it be worth it to spare a few more minutes on getting one
or more of them out of there as well? They could even help you escape,
if you choose wisely. Hmm.
Either way, you need to get out. Fast.
The ogres look like they've just come to some sort of a decision...

QUEST OBJECTIVE
Draw three pictures, all three pictures need at least halfbody of your rider and the mount you are rescuing.
First pic should depict looking for a way to escape from the cage, then freeing one of the mounts and using it to run away.
You can depict more mounts, but you get to keep only ONE.
Second pic should depict rider getting to know you new mount. Pick one of the options bellow to, show the process of gaining your mount's trust.
- Taking care of your mount's mild injuries.
- Calming your mount down after the ordeal.
- Sleeping together.
- Picking a name (can be based on a recent funny experience together).
- Actually learning to ride and communicate with your mount.
- Getting a proper equipment for your mount - fashion show anyone?
- Having a dinner party together 🍽️
Third pic should be about you and your mount getting in a sticky situation
again. Perhaps the same group of ogres is involved or it is an entirely
different disaster. This time, however, you are not alone. The roles are
reversed and your mount saves you instead.
Surroundings: The details of the introductory scene as well as the
prompts were left quite vague on purpose. Use your imagination to fill in the
gaps! You can see the visuals of three ogres here though.
Captured mount designs: Simple design of common mounts (nagian unicorn,
krofi horse, terratan horse, giant gecko, shadowmoon bear, kelephan pony). If you intent to keep the mount you are rescuing, before starting the quest, contact admin via discord, email or dA and send us the mount design for approval.

- No? In that case you get the mount you rescue as your starter (Its default level will be 2).
- Yes? You gain 7✪, and if you wish, you can buy for them the mount you have rescued (Its default level will be 2) or save it for something else.
- In both cases you are from now on allowed to request custom imports of common mounts (but you still need to pay for them).
